The hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were super clean and spacious, perfect for our family of four, but unfortunately, they had a smelly and dirty issue. The service was a bit inconsistent with a mix of very nice and accommodating moments as well as making bizarre excuses. The location was great for our purpose, close to stores and restaurants, but we wished the hotel had longer hours for socializing. The dining was excellent, with a diverse and delicious breakfast spread. Overall, it was a decent stay with both highs and lows.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room, despite being a bit small, was surprisingly quiet even with the pool nearby, but it had a slight smell and was not as clean as I had hoped. The service, especially from Matt, was exceptional, with courteous and helpful staff. The hotel's location was very convenient for my visit to Champaign, near various restaurants and with helpful spa time slots available. However, the surrounding area was not the best. The dining experience offered delicious food with nice choices, though it could get chaotic and lacked timely resupply of items.
The hotel is conveniently located, ideal for those moving their children to the University of Illinois. The rooms are disinfected after each stay, but they are rather small for additional activities. The complimentary dinner was a pleasant surprise, but happy hour offerings were not ready. The staff is warm and welcoming, making check-in a breeze. The dining options are varied and a step above the usual, with multiple choices available.
